The first ever NYC Trashion Fashion show was held Saturday, May 31, 2014 on the rooftop of Brooklyn Grange in Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Twenty models showcased ten designers, all clotting was made out of trash and recyclable materials from land fields. This was the fourth annual event, the previous ones were held throughout the United States.
Trashion Fashion is a community-driven event that inspires and creates awareness through recycled design. We will empower our audience to reduce, reuse and recycle clean waste while creating art and providing education.
