Where is Silver Moon Bakery and Cafe Located?

Silver Moon Bakery and Cafe is located on the Upper West Side neighborhood on the northeast corner of 105th street and Broadway Avenue.  It can also be conveniently reached by the 1 train off the 103rd street stop.

There are many cafes and bakeries throughout the five boroughs and Silver Moon Bakery is a standout amongst them all.

As with bars and restaurants, it feels like you can try a new spot everyday and never reach the end. That being said, I like to make a good faith effort to try new bakeries but of course I have a few that I visit frequently.

Silver Moon boasts a storefront that is approximately 5 feet by 10 feet so there is usually a line out the door (but don’t worry, it goes fast.) They also have a handful of bistro tables on the sidewalk in case you would like to sample a few sandwiches or pastries. I typically get a coffee (hot in the colder months and iced if it is 90 degrees like it has been this week) and then choose from one of their many whole loaf breads. They have a range of bread from baguette to whole grain and all are really high quality. I also like that the kitchen is open so you actually see the product being worked on.

If you are in the neighborhood, I highly recommend Silver Moon Bakery and Cafe.
