Are you ready to say goodbye to 2013 and welcome in 2014?  Have you ever considered ringing in the new year in the middle of Times Square?  It will be cold and once you are in you are committed to spending the next 6-8 hours with your newly made friends.  However, you will be at one of the centers of an international celebration and that is pretty cool.

If you plan in advance, you can get a hotel room in Times Square and that might be a good path to take.  Alternatively, if you have any friends who work in the area, hit them up early for tickets to watch the ball drop from their office which is the ideal situation.
