George Andreakos has been in the acting game for a brief time but has made himself noticeable in every role he has took part in. From his first step on the screen in “The Mysteries of Laura” (2014) George knew acting would be a big part of his life and has not looked back since. His talent began to take notice in 2020 when he played the character Nicholas Mazzelli in the film “Blackjack: The Jackie Ryan Story” that featured such talents like Robert Davi and David Arquette.

He has welcomed all types of roles like playing a detective, van driver, doctor, or a landlord. But he has been more soughtafter to portray a mobster which he has nailed repeatedly. For many actors they fear being typecast but for others it is a gift to even be considered for their work.
“It does cross my mind at times, but I am thankful to be working in an industry that is extremely tough and competitive. I know I can play other characters like a dad and a fun type of role. I simply have not been given that opportunity yet.”
Based on this fact he has nailed a numerous wiseguy roles lately. In 2019 he played the role of Frankie in the mob film “Mob Town” followed by the recent “Inside Man” where he played Luca Santi and the soon to be released “Mob Cops” as Anthony. Granted George has the look of a bruiser but in reality, he is a gentle giant. But director / producer Danny Abeckasernoticed the way George can enter a room and stand out and can deliver that type of role flawlessly.
As we mentioned earlier George played in the recent “Inside Man” which is based on true events surrounding the violent mob crew under Roy DeMeo. Ironically, there was a film that was supposed to come out years ago called “In the Wind” which was based on the life of Dominick Montiglio(RIP) who was involved with Roy via his uncle Nino. But it never happened since they were told not to make it (hint). In the recent version George acted opposite actress Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars) which was a highlight for him.
“It surely was, and I really must thank Director Danny Abeckaser for believing in me and giving me the role to play opposite Lucy. At first, I did not know what to expect working with Lucy but after meeting her in hair and makeup before getting on set she was the most down-to-earth thespian I have ever met. After all she does have an extensive resume and is an accomplished sought out celebrity. We had a lot of fun filming including the bar scene but the car scene before we walk into lounge was the one of the most memorable. She is driving and puts the old vintage car in park I am getting out, but the car is still rolling back. She looked and me and I looked at her and we were like, “what the hell is wrong with this car. She was sincerely concerned I did not get hurt while I was halfway out of the car. A true professional with a genuine concern. A class act, I hope to work with Lucy again in the future.”
There are of course several actors that George would love to work with. He mentioned such names like Al Pacino, Clint Eastwood, Pierce Brosnan, Leonardo Di Caprio, Brad Pitt and of course fellow Greek Actress Jennifer Aniston. On the table currently is the project “Mob Cops” which is based on the events surrounding the corrupt cops Louis Eppolitto and Lou Carcappa who did dirty work for mobster Anthony “Gaspipe” Casso in the 80’s. George plays the character Anthony a mobster. He collaborated again with Director Danny Abeckaser joined by producer Kyle Stefanski and Gustavo Nacimento. Kosta Kondilopoulos wrote the script. The cast was made of actors like David Arquette, Kevin Connolly, Leila Ben Khalifa, Jeremy Luke, Darren Weiss, Nate Buzz, Mike Young, Lorenzo Antonucci, Joseph Russo, Montana Tucker, Graham Sibley, and Lynn Adriana Freedman. George is always looking to up his game in any role that is placed before him. Be on the look out for his upcoming work on “Mob Cops” due to drop soon.
