As an adolescent it is sometimes hard to discover your true calling, and one tends to focus on the obvious career choice. For many they learn what that “true calling” is much later in life. This is the case for makeup artist / beauty professional, Eve Soleh. Hailing from the exotic country of Indonesia she first studied Architecture in New Zealand. She at first worked as a managing director of a company focusing on the Event and Tourism sector. One of the criteria for the company was for her to travel globally leading major events. The company she worked for was PT. Cempaka Mitra Selaras in Indonesia as an event organizer, event planner and tourism.
Through her time in school and onward she had a nagging issue with her own skin. Her mother desperately tried to find a solution. This motivated Eve to find a cure for her skin problems. On the heels of this motivation is when she decided to devote her time to helping others with their skin issues. Hence, she gave birth to her company, MYEVIS BEAUTY. While building her own brand she also worked for one of the Estee Lauder companies under a Clinique brand at Macy’s. There she developed more skin care knowledge that would benefit her in the long run.
The company was founded in 2019 and has grown since its inception. Ever since then Eve has had the pleasure of showcasing her talent at events like NY Fashion Week and Fox TV. Outside if these high-end events she has also catered to
high-end weddings, commercials, photoshoots and even doing makeup for the talent in an online training video series called Simply Sing which shows all over the world. The company does everything from skin care, eyelashes, makeup and hairstyling, beauty tips, beauty classes, and more.
Most people think of makeup and hairstyling as only for women, but Eve has had male clients as well. In a recent fashion event with a UK designer, all the models she worked with were men. Besides her company she has also branched out and became a co-owner of Manhattan Mirage and event venue in the heart of New York City. This specific venue caters to all types of events from fashion shows, corporate parties and all other types of entertainment. Her studio is located within the same venue.

“For each new client I have, the first thing I do is evaluate their skin and inquire as to how they take care of it. Putting makeup on an improperly cared for face is like trying to paint a dirty wall. achieving the best makeup look starts with great skin care as well as using the right products for a particular skin type.”
Now Eve is building her team to include makeup artists, assistants and a hair stylist. This is because the projects she is hired for are growing and the need for crew has become crucial to success. On another note, she is also looking to expand and open a studio in Brooklyn and one in Queens. Eve has established herself as an affiliate of the
biggest eyelash manufacturer in world, Eyelashes World which is in her birth country, Indonesia. Hence, her desire to branch out into faux eyelash application and sales. She
is very focused on building up her brand and nothing makes her feel better than helping men and women look and feel their best.
