Riverside Park is located on the westside of Manhattan and runs parallel with the Hudson River. This is one of my favorite areas in all of New York.
On any given day you will see locals running or bike riding up and down one of the main sections of the park between 72nd street and 125th street. Individuals not interested in physical activity can always stop by the Boat Basin for a cold beer during the summer months. A third option would be to explore the park and take pictures along the way. Below is a gallery of a warm fall afternoon in the park. A lot of flowers were still in bloom and I wanted to get a few pictures before the cold started setting.
