The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine is located on 113th and Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan. It is one of my favorite buildings in the city, one of the largest churches in the world and also boasts a pair of peacocks that roam around the grounds out back. Bottom line is the next time you are in the city, make a trip uptown and visit the church.
There is a art installation currently on display called the Phoenix by artist Xu Bing. I took a few pictures but if you have the opportunity to check them out in person, it is worth a visit.
