I was looking for some Fall inspired drink recipes and reached out to a few restaurants around the city. One of the drink recipes I received was an updated version of the classic Rickey. All the standard ingredients are included (Gin, lime and club soda) but with the addition of a Concord Grape puree. These grapes become available in the Fall and are found at farmers markets throughout the city.
Concord Grape Rickey:
Serving size – 1
Preparation times – 5 minutes
1.5 oz London Dry Gin
1.5 oz Concord Grape Puree (reduced concord grapes in sugar and spices)
1 oz Lime
3 oz Club Soda
Serve in a highball glass with a big mint sprig and pickled Concord grapes as a garnish.
