Summer in a glass. This Georgia Smash is the perfect cocktail to make for a hot afternoon backyard hangout with friends. Recipe and photo submitted by Timothy Miner, Bar Manager at The Jakewalk in Brooklyn NY.
Ingredients:
4 to 5 mint Leaves
2 lemon wedges
.25 ounces Fresh Lemon Juice
.5 ounces Simple Syrup
.5 ounces Sathenay Creme de Peche
2 ounces Pierre Ferrand 1840 Formula Cognac
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters

Directions:
Combine Mint Leaves, Lemon Wedges and Simple Syrup in a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add the remaining ingredients to the cocktail shaker and top with ice. Shake Vigorously. Double strain into a double rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig. Enjoy!
