It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

In the title I am talking about fall in NYC and not the holiday season Andy Williams crooned on his 1963 album.

Autumn in New York is my favorite time of the year. Gone are the days of oppressive heat and sweat soaked subway walls. The international tourist set have retreated to build back their bank accounts so they can come again next summer. There is a lull before the Christmas tourist crew finds their way into the city to clog the streets as they ogle all the pretty lights and trees. Clearly this writer has some seasonal issues he needs to work through.
