Central Park

A Fall Day in Central Park

New York is steadily transitioning into winter.  Most of the leaves are off the trees, eggnog lattes are in abundance and pea-coats are out in full force.

Beautiful Fall Colors in Central Park

I am ready for winter but right around this time every year I feel a a tinge of longing for the last few days of autumn.  The bright colors, crisp 55 degree mornings and a general calm about the city.  I know fall is behind us and I am prepared for the next few months of winter. I have decided this year I will embrace the cold and intend to fully cover the city and all its winter related activities (and yes, I will attempt to cross-country ski in Central Park this year.)

In the spirit of days gone by, I will post a few more fall pics before digging in to Christmas trees, tourists and of course the snow.Central Park Fall PhotographyFall Foliage in Central ParkThe Lake in Central ParkFall Colors in Manhattan's Central ParkBoating in Central ParkBelvedere Castle in Central ParkTurtle Pond in Central ParkKite Flying in Central Park
