Looking for a chill coffee spot with free internet, good coffee, friendly staff and snacks? Now take that one step further and you also want a place that serves a nice selection of beer and wine? Well, then Lenox Coffee in Harlem is your place. I have visited a handful of times and will definitely be a regular before too long.
Lenox serves Stumptown coffee which if you aren’t familiar is a Portland, Oregon based operation that has been expanding to the East Coast in recent years. Bottom line, the coffee is really good.
Located right around the corner of 129th street and Lenox avenue, this 20 ft. by 20 ft. shop is cozy with a decent amount of seating for it’s size. However, it will fill up and you might have to share a table with someone but consider it an opportunity to make a new friend.
To get to Lenox, hop on the 2 or 3 uptown train and get off on 125th st. and then walk north four blocks. Definitely worth checking out.
