Michter’s Rye Cocktail Recipe

The summer cocktail list continues to grow.  We hope you are following (and tasting) along as we present new recipes that are perfect for sharing with friends or impressing your special someone.

Today, we bring you The Tauster from Second Floor On Clinton located on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.  Check out the full recipe below.

The Tauster

Serving size: 1
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 0

Ingredients:
Michter’s Rye
St. Elizabeth All Sprice Dram
Maple Syrup
Lemon
Dutch’s Colonial & Lavender Bitters

Directions:
In a martini shaker with ice you add 2 oz of Rye, 1oz of St. Elizabeth All Spice Dram, 1oz of maple syrup, 1oz of lemon juice and 2-3 drops of Dutch’s colonial bitters.
Shake really well.
Strain into a coupe glass and top it with 2-3 drops of Lavender bitters. Garnish with lemon twist.
