Damrak Gin and Licor 43 Cocktail Recipe

By Seth Fera-Schanes

This signature cocktail comes to us from Hanson Dry bar in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn.  With a minimal ingredient list and simple preparation this would be a great drink to make when friends stop by during the summer.  Serve with some tapas such as these Sauteed Spanish Pimientos de Padron or these Pickled Garlic Scapes with Green Olives and Prosciutto.

The Hanson DryThe Hanson Dry:
Serving size: 1
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 0 minutes

2 oz Damrak Gin
1/2 oz Licor 43
3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Pour over ice, stir, and then strain into a cocktail glass.  Garnish with a fresh lemon twist.
