Enchanting Charleston

I decided to head down south to the city of Charleston, South Carolina.  Flight times come in just under 2 hours (2 hours out and 1.5 hours back!) Having never been to Charleston, I chose to stay downtown in the historic district to be close to landmark locations on my list of places to see.

I learned a few things on my trip to the Palmetto City.  First and foremost, Charleston is a city that forces you to make a lot of decisions.  Shall I get another order of Shrimp and Grits?  I already tried She Crab Soup, but should I get another bowl.  Do I spend a day on a boat in the harbor or walking around taking pictures and visiting historical landmarks around town?  An afternoon on the beach or marshland?  Fishing or Kayaking?

Urban Photography: In and Around Manhattan

Whether you have a DSLR or smartphone, photo opportunities present themselves all the time in New York.  You might stumble across some frozen camel milk at a grocery store on 42nd and 11th avenue or find your way across the George Washington Bridge for an afternoon hike in the Palisades.  Walking around let’s you experience all this great city has to offer (and will give you some things to circle back on and visit for a more in-depth visit the next time around.)

Where to Get the Great Buffalo Wings in Harlem

Corner Social – My personal favorite spot for hot wings in Harlem.  Corner Social has a full restaurant menu and a nice bar.  It can get a little noisy but has a great atmosphere and is a good place to go with friends.  The wings are big, flavorful, a little pricier than other places on the list, but this is my go to restaurant and I would recommend trying them out.
