A few neighborhoods I like to visit are the South Bronx, Astoria in Queens, Brooklyn Heights and Financial District in Manhattan. I am always up for a quick ride on the Staten Island Ferry as well.
Stunning seaside towns, incredible food and an all around relaxed atmosphere are just a few reasons to get your travel plans together for a trip to the Puglia region in southern Italy.
Capture the magic of the setting sun against the roofs while sipping a beer from any of the hilltops throughout the city.
A fun weekend summer option from New York City is found in Niagara Falls, NY. A 6.5 hour drive from Manhattan or a quick and relatively cheap flight into Buffalo airport makes this a great way to spent 48 hours.
Manhattanhenge, this ‘couple-times-a-year’ event continues to grow in popularity. It’s free, it juxtaposes a beautiful sunset with the dense NYC urban skyline and most importantly it’s as instagram worthy as any food item you love dripping with melted cheese.
Local Irish Food and Outdoor Activities: Photo Tour That Will Make You Want to Visit Ireland Right Now
7 days in Ireland provides plenty of opportunities for photography sessions. While reading about a trip is great, sometimes scrolling through a bunch of pics can be more effective to get people wanting to visit a new place. Below are 3 categories from my trip (food, outdoors and city walks) that will hopefully make you book that ticket.
Hundreds of pictures would never do a 3 week trip in October hiking through the Himalayas justice. But just a few shots should be enough to encourage you to book that flight!
In my entry level course ‘how to holiday like a pro’ I cite visiting the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (Savoie) region of France. And while I work to capture the experience in prose, sometimes the pictures are all you need.
If you want to bike, hike, run and boat all day and then eat cheese and drink wine all night, you should probably visit Annecy.
An overnight flight between New York and Paris is around 7 hours. If you find a good flight deal and have a long weekend, what is stopping you from packing a couple shirts, grabbing your best walking shoes and picking up your camera for a quick trip across the Atlantic. (Note: this is not like my 48 hours trip to Iceland, but a few curated pictures I took while strolling around Paris to inspire you to book that plane ticket.)
Claude Monet’s Garden is located about 1.5 hours outside of Paris. If you are spending some time in Paris or the north of France, this striking garden is something to put on your travel itinerary. I had spent an afternoon in Giverny visiting the grounds and taking pictures as quickly as my camera would allow. It is a gorgeous space and if you are looking to bring back some concepts for your own garden (or purchase some seeds to plant) Monet has you covered.
