The greatest cinematic-like TV achievement is “The Walking Dead”. The show that has all of America on it’s toes and viewers biting their fingernails. Who knew the suspense and intensity of being hunted by zombies would be so mind-boggling to watch and have its fans preparing for a catastrophic doomsday. The best part about the show is that it was filmed in mega city Atlanta! “The Walking Dead” isn’t the only cool thing that was filmed in the city. Take a look at all the television and motion pictures that were filmed in the Atlanta region.

By Nick Christophers Even though our society has grown to understand other cultures and embrace them there still lives an underground racial divide. In a recent musical stage reading presented by the YangTze Repertory Theatre of America they brought racism to the forefront in this true story. The […]
A buttermilk biscuit isn’t a buttermilk biscuit without gravy! The same rules apply to real southern cooking; you have to experience it in the South. Whether you’re a true Southern Belle’ or just want to eat good food, you’ll find yourself wondering how you’ve gone through life without dining at the best Southern restaurants in Atlanta. I have included a short list of some of the most mouth-watering, deep fried recipes from the area below. Happy eating!
Few brands of liquor have earned such fame as Jack Daniel’s whiskey. Maybe it’s due to incredible marketing efforts. Maybe it’s because the name alone conjures images of old-timey men in the South sitting in cozy chairs and drinking their nightly glass. Whatever the case, people flock from near and far to the tiny town of Lynchburg, Tennessee, to tour the distillery and explore the surrounding area, all the while getting to peek at the life of the brand’s protagonist.
One of my favorite parts of living in Music City is its proximity to exceptional performance spaces and as a result, access to incredible performers. For most people familiar with Nashville, this typically means events at Ryman Auditorium or Bridgestone Arena, not to mention the many music venues throughout the city. However, I feel equally lucky that Nashville is home to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) and the theatrical performances it hosts.
A bostock is the pastry you didn’t know you needed in your life. Another genius approach to day-old bread and an alternative to an eggy French toast, a traditional bostock is a slice of brioche topped with frangipane and almonds. It’s good for breakfast. Or dessert. Or instead of pretty much any of your more sensible meals.

The pleasure of having your dog for company is special. We humans appreciate, and enjoy the times when we can call on our pet for a warm amity. Not many of us can identify with having this sort of companionship, but a dog for a pet is the best playmate and stress reliever anyone could ever have. Many of us can identify with the confined feeling of staying cooped up in the same space for too long. Well, your dog can feel along these lines too. With the stress of keeping squirrels off the yard, and finding an immaculate pee spot, sometimes your dog wants a new outdoor scene with fresh grass, and some new butts to sniff. For those who enjoy long walks with their furry friend, casual shopping sprees, and frisbee throwing matches in a dog-friendly environment, here are some popular sites to take your dog for nonstop “man and best friend” fun.
