Dancing Sensation: The Renge Sisters Marking Their Territory in New York

It is without question that this dancing duo is nothing short of amazing. Risa and Ayaka who hail from the exotic land of Japan have wowed crowds everywhere with their magnificent moves. Their flexibility and timing are perfect. Their love of music and dancing is evident as they escape into a dancing void that most wouldn’t comprehend.

Another Year at the Javits Center for the New York Comic Con

It was another wild and crazy Sunday at the NY Comic Con with thousands of visitors packing the Javits.

Just taking a walk from Penn Station on 34th Street to 11th avenue it would have been impossible not to bump into Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain America or Thor. Attendees paraded down the street in their favorite costumes with style. Passerby’s would get whiplash just trying to decipher whether Halloween came to early.

Today in New York two rare events occurred: the city was on the path of partial visibility (71%) of The Great American Eclipse and New Yorkers held back their indifference and showed interest in one another for a little over 1.5 hours — during their sacred lunch hour no less!

Interview with Joey Mangano

I scheduled to meet up with Joey Mangano in New York City. He arranges to meet me at STK in the meatpacking district and tells me reservations are under John Carlo at 8:30, it’s a Friday night.  I ask him who is John; he tells me he’s a close friend who owes him a night out and that he’s picking up the bill all night.
