Walk around the city long enough and you will inevitably come across a Vietnamese sandwich shop. They offer a variety of meats served on a French baguette with cucumbers, pickled carrots, cilantro and some sort of chili mayo sauce.
Search for “cronut” online and every major publication in NYC (and around the country) is talking about the mighty new pastry.
Sometimes you just crave a hot summer afternoon in New York City. Yes, the sweat beads on your forehead, the humidity is oppressive and unpleasant smells waft through the air. Times Square, the cross-roads of the world, is up to bat for my next post. If you have never been to the city, Times Square makes the list of places to visit; that is a given. As a writer, I spend a lot of time at Starbucks. I can’t even tell you how many Venti Earl Greys I’ve sipped down while pecking away on my Macbook. (By the way, I take mine with a splash of soy milk, a few dashes of cinnamon, and 2 Splendas…)
In advance of the new season of Arrested Development, the show’s iconic Banana Stand was moved to different locations around New York City this week. The events attracted big crowds and definitely created hype around season 4. With the large population and high number of both domestic and […]
